He began his early artistic career in the world of circus and cabaret in there being both a clown, an acrobat and a tamer of wild beasts. It also does a career in leculturisme which allows him to develop an impressive appearance which will advantage in the rest of his career. Accustomed to supporting roles, he took often the role of the ugly candide, the gross naivety of the force of nature in heart. On television, we will see in the Last Five Minutes of Claude Loursais, in Vidocq of the director Marcel Bluwal, in the Head of The other, Raymond Roller, or The Holy ones of John Becker, and in The secret Files of inspector Lavardin by Claude Chabrol. It is above all the cinema that it will become a popular figure thanks to his many appearances in supporting roles, notably to the sides of Louis de Funès. It retains its appearance in Oscar, Edward Molinaro, where he engages in a demonstration of pectorals and the triceps tasty.
