Emperor Wilhelm II of Germany

Frederick William Victor Albert of Hohenzollern (German : Friedrich Wilhelm Viktor Albrecht), born 27 January 1859 in Berlin and died on 4 June 1941 at Doorn, in the netherlands, was, from 1888 to his abdication in 1918, the third and last German emperor and the ninth and last king of Prussia. A member of the House of Hohenzollern, ruling under the name of Wilhelm II, he was the grandson of William I (German emperor) and the son of Frederick III, who ruled for only 99 days, and in that he succeeded. His mother, the Kaiserin Victoria known as empress Frederick, was the daughter of queen Victoria Ire of the United Kingdom, and the prince consort Albert of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha.
