Flight attendant Sophie loves change: Now she's after fresh country air and a fresh start in the countryside. When the woman from Munich buys a remote farm on her own, her husband Philippe takes to his heels - no less spontaneously. Her daughter Leonie has no choice: the teenager has to join the adventure. However, the Fuchsbichlerhof is not only "true to the original" - as advertised by the previous owner Ludwig Fuchsbichler - but also houses an original Bavarian: Ludwig's brother Barthl, who enjoys the right to live here for life. In order to make room for the new owners, he has to move out of his parents' house. So it's no wonder that Barthel wants to expel the townsfolk as quickly as possible. He starts a small war, in which Sophie soon fights hard as well. Without a job and in need of money, her only option is to flee to the front: She would like to rent out the barn to holidaymakers who want to enjoy pure country life. When the first guests arrive, the argument enters the decisive round.
