Madly in love with the beautiful final-year student and daughter of the village's mayor, Bilio, the handsome young fisherman, Fotis, finds out that the community's teacher, Platon, too, is head-over-heels in love with her. As the news of Platon's scandalous behaviour spreads like wildfire, his dismissal is inevitable; however, all is fair in love and war. As a result, love-smitten Platon plucks up the courage to take matters into his own hands and sets in motion an audacious scheme in the name of love. Will his plan bear fruit? Are Fotis and Bilio mean to be together?
