Yves Pignot
Student of the higher national Conservatory of dramatic art in the class of Georges Chamarat, Yves Pignot play the classical repertoire at the Comédie-Française, under the direction of J.-L. Thamin, Simon Eine, J.-P. Roussillon, M. Etcheverry, G. Strehler, T. Hands, R. Roll, Mr. Fagadau, J., Charon, J. Rosny, J. Destoop, and J.-L. Cochet. He is found then in many rooms of paris : Montparnasse, Petit Marigny, Théâtre de Paris, Workshop, Mathurins, and at the Theatre de Boulogne-Billancourt where he has acted and directed Marivaux, Feydeau, Goldoni, Diderot,Sacha Guitry... It was Rameau le fou (directed by Nicolas Briançon) in the Theatre 14. He has turned in many films for television (under the direction of Claude Santelli, Pierre Cardinal, Jean Prat,Marion Sarraut, Jean Sagols, Pierre Boutron, Yves Rénier) to the cinema (Anatole Litvak, Yves Robert, Claude Miller, Gérard Oury...) It is part of the distribution of one of the films of Claude Chabrol and Fanfan la Tulipe by Gérard Krawczyk. He was director of the École supérieure d'art dramatique de la Ville de Paris until 2002. He teaches at the school of dramatic art at the HQ of which he directs the upper class since 2008.
