Xanti Salvador

Working on the sound is my principal vocation, which I enjoy and allows me to develop myself, both personally and professionally. Work regularly for several clients, always independent, sumándome to projects that seem to me interesting, I report them and knowledge that can enrich my work, regardless of budget. I was born in Bilbao in 1973. My beginnings were in the world of music; be part of several groups, and little by little I became interested in the recording, a self-taught. After 10 years of continually learning, on my own, doing occasional work for sound —in studies of musical recordings as in performing arts— pass study officially sound in the School of Film and Video of Andoain (Gipuzkoa). Also were very important for my studies in electricity and electronics, with that I gained complementary expertise very valuable. Since then I have been dedicating myself professionally to the sound, preferably in the audiovisual area, and on tod, in film sound. I've had the opportunity to travel and work in different countries such as: Cuba, Haiti, Venezuela, Pakistan, Ethiopia, Hungary... I am Also interested in teaching. I have driven (helped to generate) and taught (where I have requested it) sound classes, in different schools, universities and indigenous communities; in places where it has been feasible to be able to convey knowledge of sound, to be able to move forward and contribute to the visual language. And, occasionally, I try not to disconnect from the world of music and I try to enjoy also of musical recordings. I currently reside somewhere between Venezuela and Bilbao; work on both sides of the "pond", sumándome to any project where I request. We will see you soon.
