At the Ford Motor Plant in Ypsilanti, Michigan, the war effort is helped in a number of ways: firstly, it is being used to build planes for the Air Force; and second, because the work is being done by a female work force, all doing work traditionally associated with men. From heavy crane work to assembling the plane parts such as heavy engines, the ladies demonstrate that there is no longer any such thing as a 'man's job.
