The Earl is disgusted when his parents insist that he marry the girl of their choice, not his own. He has been reading a book called "When Knights Were Bold," and only wishes that he might have lived in "Ye Olden Times," when he could fight for his "Lady Love." He falls asleep and dreams that his wish has come true. Then follows many humorous scenes. All the situations of the olden times being played with up-to-date equipment. He awakes to find the girl who his parents have chosen for him at his side, and decides that in the present day a suitor has an easier time than in the days gone by.
