In an old shack in New Orleans live two twins, Chopi and Sioux, with their grandma priestess of Voodoo. Sioux is handicapped by birth, and Chopi discovers the story beyond the birth defect on her little legs: the priestess casted a spell to their mother while pregnant, through an evil voodoo doll. Now the children are determined to return the favor, but... how to train a voodoo doll ? This is a story of friendship between a little children and a creature of big powers, and of a little girl that can be cured only if she can face the pointy edge of a magical pin.
