Udo Jürgens

Udo Jürgens was an Austrian-Swiss composer, Pianist and singer. He had in addition to the Austrian, since 2007, the Swiss citizenship. With around 100 million records sold, Udo Jürgens was one of the most commercially successful entertainment of the musicians, in the German language. His active career spanned almost 60 years. He is stylistically between pop, Chanson and pop music and became the first Austrian in 1966, the Grand Prix Eurovision de la Chanson (today's Eurovision Song Contest).
