Timmy Muldoon is a traffic cop on the mean streets of the city. After his partner and best friend, Zach Taylor, was gunned down some time ago by a robber wearing a jacket with the Egyptian Eye of Horus symbol (the trademark of the Shadoweyes gang) across the back, Timmy has become bitter and cynical, spending a good part of his time with his new best friend, a whiskey bottle. Everyone tells him there's no chance of catching the perp who committed the heinous crime; his wife, his new partner, even his captain, but Timmy is determined to bring Zach's killer to justice, no matter what it takes. While on routine patrol one day with his new partner, Officer Bill, he spots a man wearing the familiar jacket and jumps from the squad car and gives chase. This leads to a strange encounter with Veronica, Zach's widow, and a startling revelation. While fleeing from two of Shadoweyes' thugs, Timmy learns that the gang has kidnapped Officer Bill and are holding him hostage. Will Timmy be able to rescue Officer Bill in time? Can he crack the case of his slain partner? Will he finally put an end to the fiendish plans of the Shadoweyes Bandit?
