The War Is Over (1945)
WWII has just ended. As Canadian soldiers return home, the soldiers, the government and the general citizenry celebrate. Contributions, not only by the Canadian forces', but also of the Canadian home effort, such as through manufacturing ingenuity or provision of natural resources, to the war is discussed. The overall outcome of the war is also discussed in how the global political order and the economic base in Canada has forever changed.
