The Trail of Cards (1913)
Don Pedro, a wealthy Mexican, and Bob, the foreman of the ranch of Bess' father, are both in love with Bess. Her father declares the girl can choose for herself, and Bess chooses Bob. Don Pedro however does not give up that easily and abducts her. Fortunately Bess has a deck of cards with her; she drops them one by one along the route, so Bob can trace her. The kidnappers are captured and Bess and Bob are happily reunited.
