With a large leather suitcase crammed with cash embezzled from their unsuspecting customers, the unscrupulous founders of a dummy construction corporation, and their equally guilty partner, Lena, try to escape abroad in their small private plane. Instead, the members of the gang will find themselves marooned on a thin stretch of swampland along with one of their victims and Lena's old flame, Dimitris. Now, unable to make their dream come true unless they repair the aeroplane, the ruthless trio has no other choice but to enlist the help of the islet's grizzled lighthouse keeper and his family, as well as the dangerous former convict, Vagelis, to retrieve the money. However, greed, lust, and an unexpected complication in the shape of a young couple stand in the way of success, paving the way for deceit and death. Is there an escape from the unforgiving swamp?
