Ben and Mel are two ex lovers who on a cold Melbourne morning meet unexpectedly for the first time since since their break up. Both have moved on with their lives, but there is still strong chemistry between the two. Ben is on his best behaviour and makes it his mission to show Mel that he is not the inconsiderate loser she once made him out to be, which is a hard thing to do when you're harbouring a secret that is threatening to expose you for the person you really are. Mel is curious and somewhat guilty about how things ended between the two, which is why she takes the opportunity to make amends. But after some initial promise she soon discovers that old habits die hard.
