The Pure Guilt (2023)

The Pure Guilt is a trance, a meditation that relies on 3 main elements: A super8 reel, filmed in the summer of 2022. A light study of Mascarat, a huge black rock, crowning Illa Grossa of the Columbretes Islands, Castellón. Another 8mm roll shot in Xàtiva, València, on April 7, 2023, Good Friday. Finally, a field recording from that same Easter day, processed by DA ROCHA UM. This audio, 'stretched' 44.1 times over its original waveform and digitally processed, is the only element present in the film's soundtrack.
