A black old widower shows bouts of anger towards his son after the death of his wife. Once his son is a teenager, after an argument, the son leaves the paternal house. Time passes by, they both get older, get on with their lives, but they both live alone and miss each other. Despite the appearances, they are very similar: they express their emotions and communicate through tap dance, and they both long for the happiness they had when their old family portrait was taken. One day, the father decides to visit his son and put an end to their differences.
