Mitsuya Majime (Ryuhei Matsuda), a shy, eccentric young man, joins the Dictionary Editorial Department to help compile a new dictionary, "The Great Passage." Gradually, Mitsuya comes out of his shell while working with Masashi Nishioka (Joe Odagiri) and falling for Kaguya Hayashi (AoiMitsuya Majime (Ryuhei Matsuda), a shy, eccentric young man, joins the Dictionary Editorial Department to help compile a new dictionary, "The Great Passage."
