"The First Hunt" was not only the first experimental work of the color sector of the studio Lenfilm, but also the first directorial work of Schmidt. Multipliers not only experimented with color, but also studied the actual animation. For example, at the studio during filming lived a real puppy, observation of which allowed more accurately convey the phases of the movement and behavior in general.
