The face of the day (1965)
After winning the grand prize in a contest--a one-week all-expenses-paid trip to Athens--the cheerful merchant, Grigoris Mavrofridis, arrives in the bustling capital, only to find himself in the middle of a dangerous and volatile situation. By an unwelcome twist of fate, the members of two rival smuggling rings are convinced that Grigoris is the mysterious liaison known only as Polidoros--the man entrusted with the important and lucrative task of delivering an ancient statue of inestimable cultural value to an extremely rich collector. Will Grigoris manage to get out of the tight spot?
