The film is co-directed by a seven-year-old boy called, Emrik with the help of his father as a technical advisor. Every scene, the design, and the structure has been decided or approved by the kid. Usually on the spot because he felt pre-production was a waste of time. The music composed by Gisle Martens Meyer is based on a theme suggested by Emrik humming it. The basic idea co-director Even Benestad had was to make a film for children made by children, but with the technical skills of the grown-ups.
