Sylvia who along with Marsha P. Johnson founded S.T.A.R , Street Transvestites Revolutionaries and built a home for young queens and run-a-ways. Sylvia who year after year fought for her community to be included in New York's gay rights bill even up to the time she was dying in the hospital.
