Solomon Zarytskyi

Solomon Moyseyovych Zarytskyi — Soviet and Ukrainian theater and cinema artist of Jewish origin. Born May 15, 1889 in Kyiv in the family of cutter. Died May 24, 1975. Graduated from the Kyiv Art School (1910, workshop of Pymonenko, Svitoslavskiy, Dyadchenko, Seleznev). He taught drawing at schools, work in workshops of Revolutionary Military Council of the 12th Army, preparing propaganda posters. Many worked in theaters. Participant of many union and republican exhibitions. He was awarded medals. He was a member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine.
