Serge Valletti

Serge Valletti is a comedian and author of French theatre was born in 1951 in Marseille. He wrote his first play in 1969, The Brushes, and began a rich career of more than 30 works. His recent work revolves around a translation/adaptation of the complete works of Aristophanes. Presented to the public during the "Nights of Fourvière" in 2011, the parts Return to the fireflies and The Strategy of Alice were the first on which Serge Valletti discussed. The continuation of the project was made when the idea of complete translation has been proposed to Serge Valletti for Marseille 2013 in order to be presented. But in front of the amount of work that this took, Serge Valletti has reviewed its objectives in the fall and hopes to continue the translation on a rate of 2 to 4 parts per year.
