Halis is in his 40, he is one of his own, who makes a living by his own Katmer shop. He and his wife, Ayla, have had the coldness for years now. Probably the only common point of theirs is their daughters, Öykü. Halis, who is also a municipal councilor, takes Meznun one day to run the katmer shop. Grateful to Halis for recruiting him in the beginning, Meznun crumbles the family's tense but obscure mundane lives after a while.
