Pierre Palau
In 1921, Pierre Palau wrote the piece The Détraquées that is played in the theatre of the Two Masks in Paris with the actress Blanche Derval in the lead role. In his narrative Nadja, published in 1928, André Breton reported the strong impression that have given her this room and the actress. In his book, he reproduced two photographs of the show and a portrait of Blanche Derval. The text has benefited from the cooperation of the neurologist Joseph Babinski whose Breton was the wizard in 1917, has been reproduced in the magazine Le Surrealism, even in 1956.
