It is nearly half past one in the morning. In his drab and squalid room, a sleepless man can find no peace, as an ominous feeling that he is not alone in the apartment sends shivers down his spine. It is still cold and dark outside, and mysteriously, the time has stuck at half past one. Does that shadow justify his fears? He could have sworn that he was alone, but now, he is not so sure. When does the sun rise to scatter the darkling shadows?
