Luis Prendes
Brother of the actress Mari Carmen and Mercedes Prendes, his first vocation was however a military career, starting studies of officer of the merchant marine. In his early years as an actor, is integrated in the company of her sister Mercedes and Carmen Diaz and Concha Catalá. After the end of the Spanish Civil War begins a phase of great activity both in cinema and theatre. Becomes the first actor of the María Guerrero Theatre, until in 1946 get form own company. In film his most prolific period, found in the decades of the 1940s and 1950s, when it reaches it's status as lead actor in numerous comedies of Ignacio Farrés Iquino, Alejandro Ulloa and José María Forqué. It was also a face as usual in the first years of Spanish Television, where he worked with often in spaces as Study 1, Novel and series as a Stories to not sleep (1966) and Seen to judgement (1971).
