Lucy (2016)
Imagine being born in the wrong body. Everyday you're fighting. Against society, stigma and yourself. All you want is acceptance. Lucy's story is one of searching for her true self in a world that's not quite ready. When she finally found her place among a like minded community, she also found the confidence to stand by her identity - that of a trans woman. Now living with complete fulfillment, Lucy is ready to share her experience and answer the questions you've probably always wanted to ask. In a film inspired by a truly inspiring human, Lucy bares her struggles and desires. As Lucy, her family and friends talk through their experiences they'll make you question what identity really means and why we still hold prejudices against people we don't even know.
