Lock (2007)
Berna, a theater artist, struggles for the sake of acting only for art at a time when popular culture is dominant. Meanwhile, during a visit to a museum on 'The First Women of History', she is very impressed by the hand-painted portrait of Afife Jale, the first Muslim Turkish actress to appear on stage. After that day, the associations related to the life of Afife Jale almost infiltrate her life. Berna begins to explore the life and places of Afife Jale. Berna will not give up acting passion. However, the obstacles faced both by being a woman and in the way of being out of popular culture force the spiritual balance.
