Lise Thomsen, The royal Danish theatre. Theatre elevskole 1934-36 and was then 1936-56 engaged in the various copenhagen theatres, fol.a. Folketeatret, where she played the Apprentice in the "Christmas in the merchant hall", Anette in "Three little girls" and Andrea Margrethe in "Nøddebo Præstegaard:" and in the great hall, where she in 1948 had great success as Lizzie in "In anstændighedens name". In the summer of 1937, she appeared in Stig Lommer's revues at the Betty Nansen Theatre and in the summer of 1938, together with Max Hansen in "The beautiful Galathea" at the Bellevue Theatre. Furthermore, had the Lise Thomsen engagement at The new Theatre. In the years 1956-62 she was on tour and performed cabaretvirksomhed and after 1962 she had scattered business by film, radio, and TV. She starred in both Danish and foreign films. In 1940, Lise Thomsen is married to jazz pianist Jorgen Rothenborg. Lise Thomsen and professor, dr. phil. Martin Volodja Johansen (13-11-1920 - 17-08-1999) are the parents of actress Lane Lind.
