Enrico is an expert mountaineer always in search of the perfect climb, the ideal path to the summit, even though he says, working in the family dairy he spends more time contemplating the form of cheese than that of the mountains. Arianna is a young filmmaker, passionate about mountaineering. Paolo is a mountain guide who dreams of the peaks of Patagonia. Together they undertake an expedition with an ambitious objective: to open up a new route to the highest peak of the Cordon Mariano Moreno, a mountain range that emerges from the surface of the Hielo Continental, the immense sea of ice that crosses southern Patagonia. A place where no one has ever been, a difficult and dangerous challenge, but above all a new way of understanding the mountain and mountaineering: being not so much the sporting ambition of winning at any cost, but the taste of discovering new territories, and above all letting the beauty of the mountains guide the way.
