The poet Eik Skaløe and the folk musician Stig Møller created the group Steppeulvene in 1967, who with the record "Hip" introduced great lyrics in Danish beat/acid/folk rock. The group thus wrote history in the midst of the foggy hippie by using euphoric drugs provoked and hypnotized their audience all the way to Nirvana. Steppeulvene was arrested in connection with a concert and Eik Skaløe took off for India. A portrait of a poet in the time of the summer of love, including interviews and readings from Eik Skaløe's diaries.
