Jean-Pierre Darras

It appears in a number of television series, in which he played including Molière in the biography series Molière to laugh and to cry, Molière, of which he wrote also Memoirs imaginary. Also a man of the theatre, he excels as well in the boulevard as in Pagnol, which he repeatedly climbs the trilogy. In its early days, it was with Philippe Noiret a duo of cabaret : "Darras, and Noiret". In 1982 released on screens his only film as a screenwriter and director : The Poacher of God. With Philippe Noiret, he was known for having co-presented and hosted the program of the album "Discorama" between 1959 and 1962, or he often interviews celebrities, with Denise Glaser. The actor Jean Desailly, was also of the team. After 1962, he abandoned the television, with Philippe Noiret, and devoted himself mainly to the theatre, without forgetting the cinema. from 1963, Denise Glaser will only show "Discorama". He published his memoirs in 1994 under the title : "Why do you say it laughing ? In the same year, he recorded several albums produced by Jean-Pierre Danel : La Fontaine's Fables, Letters from my windmill, Tales of Andersen, and the various texts of Marcel Pagnol.
