Jean Parédès

Jean Parédès

John Parédès began his career in song and opera-comique. It belonged to the troupe Renaud-Barrault, and played in many comedies, including La Vie parisienne and The Kitchen angels. Preferring the theatre to the cinema, where it was catalogued as comedy, he had participated in over a hundred films, including Jacques the Fatalist, The Assassination of Father Christmas and Fanfan la Tulipe. He is buried in his native village of Pusignan (Rhône).
