Jean-Marie Winling

After studies in classics at the faculty of letters of Montpellier, he entered the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique de Paris, where he met Antoine Vitez. Theater actor first, he was playing with Mehmet Ulusoyaux very beginnings of the Theatre of Freedom, and then with Claude Risac, Jacques Rosner, Jacques Lassalle, Stuart Seide... He also directed two parts of Peter Macris at the Théâtre des Amandiers in Nanterre. He found Antoine Vitez, that he was attending the opening of the Theatre national de Chaillot, and with which he will be playing a dozen shows. It is also during this period that with Antoine Vitez, it creates the School of the Théâtre national de Chaillot. After a small role noticed in the Cyrano de Jean-Paul Rappeneau, he turns more often than he plays on stage, with some forays into the private theatre in The Paris with Nathalie Baye, and The Gates of heaven with Gérard Depardieu). He returns to the public theatre from 2001 to act as The Exchange directed by Jean-Pierre Vincent, and alternates from between creations in several dramatic centres or national theatres (in staged by Alain Françon, Éric Lacascade, Arthur Nauzyciel, Jean-Louis Martinelli, Stéphane Braunschweig and Olivier Py...), and filming for cinema and television (with partners Gérard Depardieu, Nathalie Baye, Yves Montand, Alain Delon, Isabelle Huppert,Guillaume Canet, Charles Berling,...), under the direction of François Dupeyron, Pierre Granier-Deferre, Xavier Giannoli,Antoine de Caunes, Xavier Beauvois, Christophe Honoré, Claude Chabrol... It has also doubled Kevin Costner in the V. F. of the movie Dances with wolves.
