Jaroslav Satoranský

Originally trained as an engraver, but at the same time he started playing amateur theatre, which subsequently led to studies at DAMU in Prague. After graduating in the field of acting (1961), he joined Theater J. Changed yet again in the Affirmative (1963-1966), from where they passed into the Vinohrady theatre in Prague (1966). In the theater got a number of opportunities, mainly in the classical repertoráru (Macbeth, King Lear, Maryša, the Strakonice bagpiper, the Legend of love). Before the film camera with Satoransky appeared for the first time in a children's mystery novel the SINGING powder-box (1959), a slightly larger role then get in a family psychological drama with propaganda overtones OSENÍ (1960). After a few more films then he got the lead role in the musical comedy there WERE TEN of US (1963); on the values of this once popular movie worked relentless time. In the course of the sixties then Satoransky played a minor role in a number of other films, comedies and dramas, for example, only in 1967, played in five frames. From the end of the 60. then years later, appeared also in the television series, one of the first was MYSTERY of the CONUNDRUM (1969), followed by, for example, the F. L. AGE (1971). Still filming movies, but this is today no longer the forgotten images. The focus of his work lies above all in tv, which he mainly large roles in the series the YOUNGEST OF the family HAMRY (1975) and the ENGINEERING ODYSSEY (1979) brought huge popularity, albeit questionable due to the social engagement of those works, and also time-limited. For the role of John Hamra got in 1976, the television prize of the Golden crocodile. On the contrary, the timeless value created by Jaroslav Satoransky their participation in this day, the famous bedtime story of KRKONOŠE FAIRY tales (1974). In the film appeared for the last time as a policeman in a children's detective novel the THIRD CLINCH FOR the CAT (1983), since then he has worked exclusively for television. Played in soap operas, fairy tales and television productions, it is worth noting the historical stories the CASE AUFFENBERG (1993) or MISSION (1994), in which he played the main role. Recently, we Jaroslav Satoranského could see, for example, in the popular series of GENDARMERIE HUMORESQUES (1997).
