Jacques Morel, his real name is Jacques Houstraete, is a French actor born may 29, 1922, in Paris (France), and died 9 April 2008 in the same city ; he is buried in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges (Val-de-Marne)1. Also a voice actor, he was the first voice of Obelix in the first three animated films Asterix before Peter Tornado.
