Ivan Ufimtsev

Born on January 15 1928 in Sverdlovsk. In 1948 graduated from high school actor in Sverdlovsk, in 1955 — the directing Department of GITIS. Starred in the films "working life" (1948), "Day star" (1966), "the Investigation leading experts. For the second cartoon "Whose cones in the forest?" brought Directors success. On the I international film festival in Mamaia (Romania) in 1966 the film received the Silver medal. Memorable work of the actor was his appearance on the screen in the image of Alexander Vasilyevich Suvorov is in the Bank "Imperial". His phrase, "why post, mother! To the first star is impossible!" became winged. Daughter Catherine Ufimtseva — theater critic and television presenter. Died 31 Aug 2010 in Moscow, resulting from several years ago stroke.
