Instructions For Walking Around The City (2021)
A symphony of the city of Bilbao based on the famous documentary that Walter Ruttmann made about Berlin in 1927. Using various animation techniques, this is a digital watercolor inspired in the transparencies by Joseph Turner during his last period. The soundtrack is an original piece by the artist Xabier Erkizia that weaves together the sounds of the city streets with fragments of the poem by Miren Agur Meabe "Instructions For Walking Around The City" recited in eight languages.
