I Want to Go on Living (1995)

Pui and Man were childhood sweethearts and separate during the Cultural Revolution. Pui married into Britain because of her grandma, the husband beat and scolded her but she kept looking after the disabled stepdaughter Yip. The husband fell addicted to gambling and owed a huge debt. Pui got a divorce, took Yip with her and went back to Hong Kong for living. When she encounters a property dispute and prepares to marry lawyer Ko for the lawsuit, the first lover Man appears and cures Yip's sickness. Then Yip falls in love with Man.
