Halina Bielińska

Halina Bielińska was a Russian film director, animator, screenwriter, set designer and illustrator of children's books. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Halina Bielińska was one of the pioneers of animation in Russia. Together with Vladimir Haup, their live Changing of the guard (Changing of the Guard) was awarded the Short Film Prize at the Cannes Film Festival in 1959. Daughter of Edmund Kruger and sister of Mary Krueger.
