Gilles Lellouche
Brother of actor Philippe Lellouche. A graduate of the Cours Florent, Gilles Lellouche began his career in cinema as director of short film (2 minutes 36 de bonheur (1996), Pourkoi... passkeu (2001), the latter being part of the program Zero is a produced by Luc Besson). Preparing many music videos - for Dany Brillant, Pascal Obispo et MC Solaar - with his friend Tristan Aurouet, it multiplies small roles on the screen (The Sisters Hamlet, Mad for it, My wife is an actress...) up to his meeting with Guillaume Canet. This last will lead in his films My idol (2002) and Don't tell anyone (2006), and Gilles Lellouche will reciprocate by assigning him the principal role in his first feature film Narco (2004). Starting from 2005, the actor-filmmaker became a regular of romantic comedies, playing the losers in My life in the air or the macho soft-hearted One will love, and giving a reply to Marie Gillain in My life is not a romantic comedy (2007). He also likes to compose characters much less sympathetic as a teacher soured My place in the sun (2007), one of the thugs of The House of the dead (id), or the grocer blundering Paris (2008). Gilles Lellouche has also made three films chronicling the odyssey of criminal gangsters French : The Last gang in 2007 and the following year Without weapons, nor hatred, nor violence, and the first part of a diptych devoted to Jacques Mesrine, The death Instinct. 2009 is doubly marked by the cinema of animation. The actor lends his voice on two occasions this year. First of all, for Rhino, the hamster delusional of the Volt of the Disney studios, then for the ominous Zoran in the film adaptation of the Guys. No less than five films are waiting Gilles Lellouche in 2010. It is the inspector Caponi of Adèle Blanc-Sec from Luc Besson and running again under the direction of Guillaume Canet for The Small handkerchiefs. He also holds the principal role of thrillers French Crash of Fabrice Genestal and Has point blank by Fred Cavayé.
