Pier Luigi "Gigi" Sammarchi (Bologna, 2 November 1949) is an Italian comic and actor. It is known for having given life with Andrea Roncato to the duo, Gigi and Andrea, forming one of the most popular couples of the television, and Italian cinema. At the cinema have played a dozen films in the pair. After the first marriage in 1976, with Patrizia Zecchi, in 1995, married in second marriage with Patrizia Guzzi became famous in Spain in the 90's for being part of the group "Las Mamachicho". After 20 years of tv career, Gigi is a little sheltered from the television because: "Today, the television speaks a language that I don't recognize myself. Expect the best of times, in the waiting I do in the theatre." Her most recent theatrical work, the proposal was "Toccata and Fugue" by the English author Derek Benfield. Time permitting, with my friend Andrea, Gigi travelled around Italy to reproduce the sketch that made him famous.
