Gabriel Gobin
Gabriel Gobin arrived in France at the age of seven years. First prize for comedy at the conservatory of Lille in 1928, he began his career on the boards of the theatres of the province and of Belgium, and then went to Paris in 1935. He joined the company of Georges Pitoëff and interpreter, among others,Jean Anouilh, Marcel Achard, Stève Passeur, Noël Coward. He started in film in 1947 in the film Monsieur Vincent by Maurice Cloche. Therefore, it turns out a second or third indispensable role in over one hundred films of the greatest directors, among which Yves Allégret, Georges Lampin, Jean-Paul Le Chanois, André Cayatte, Henri Verneuil, Gilles Grangier... where he gives the reply to Pierre Fresnay,Bernard Blier, Louis de Funès, Jean Gabin, etc., from 1956, he participated in many soap operas or drama shows : The Last Five Minutes, In your soul and conscience, The Man of Picardy, The trunk of Hamburg, the Secret of The Flemish... the Victim of a cerebral attack in 1993, it is still suffering from hemiplegia, and died February 9, 1998, at Brie-Comte-Robert. He is buried in the cemetery of Créteil.
