Flicker explores the topic of loss and the difficult process of dealing with it. It tells the story of Anna, who after discovering that her best friend Emily died, breaks down. When she finds a relic of the past that allows her to project memories of her deceased friend, she drives herself into the state of pretended happiness, rejecting the idea of Emily's passing. However, the disillusionment doesn't last long and the consequences are devastating.
