Esper Hagen

Esper Hagen Andersen, who is the son of the actress Asta Esper Andersen and actor Paul Hagen, was a student of Gerda Gilboe and was educated at Odense Theatre elevskole in the years 1968 to 1971. He made his debut 14/9 1967 as Tommy in "Pippi Longstocking" at det ny Teater in Copenhagen. He has since had engagements at a number of theatres and revues bl.a. on Værkstedsteatret in Odense, the Odense Theatre in 1970, ABC Theatre, 1972-73 and The Danish Theatre. In Rottefælden in Svendborg, summer theatre, he received in 1972 for the first time the opportunity to try his comedic talent. It was a breakthrough, and in 1974 he turned back and gave dobbelrollen as a church and transportation Kresten Damsgaard. In particular remembered Esper Hagen for his role in "Matador," as the ambitious right-hand man at the Mads Skjern. Since Esper Hagen given voice to several characters in the cartoon.
