The small mining village Naica, which stands on its own, isolated by Mexico's vast and host desert, is a speculative terrain and a small community, where the belief in witchcraft still prevails. The retired miner Ernesto - who after the misogynist beating of his sister, who was suspected of possessing witch powers, has established himself as a self-styled witch hunter - takes us on a documentary journey into the abandoned mine shaft, which is apparently the ritual house of the witches.
