Aristides Andreadis, the wealthy owner of a thriving soap factory, is in for a shock when his right-hand man and conscientious employee, Dimitris Fokas, barges into his house one fine winter morning. A suitcase crammed with jewellery worth fifty million drachmas, an audacious request for a raise, and an honest declaration of love later, Aristides will find himself neck-deep in trouble when his beautiful daughter, Elli, too, enters the picture. But, ambitious Dimitris has got it all figured out, and he's determined to succeed. Will things work out in the end?
