Diego Luciano

Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, 1989. Diego began experimenting with cinematography since his childhood, filming many short films in middle school with his little handheld camera. Later on I proceeded to take pictures with small and disposable cameras where I found out I was falling in love with the medium. I then went to the University of Puerto Rico in Bayamon to study a Bachelors in Industrial Engineering. Between classes, I kept doing photography and videography. Realizing that engineering wasn't for him, I then started an Associate's Degree in Cinematography at the College of Cinematography, Arts and Television (CCAT). It was there where one professor told him about his "photographic eye", encouraging him to take that path. I then decided to take advantage of such talent, doing various styles of photography and also implementing his photography knowledge to filmmaking. Currently finishing a Bachelors Degree in Digital Photography in Atlantic University, I have been part of various film projects and has been awarded a few times, one of the prizes granting him a scholarship to study film in EICAR, Paris, France. Diego is currently working on various film projects being loyal to his motto “never stop creating.
